"Treasure's law" is a site specific installation produced for the show "Este puede ser el lugar," organized by Taller León and displayed in a 6 floor abandoned building in Santiago's downtown where, 70 years ago, the state judges lived. 20 artists participated in the show with works that ranged from painting and drawing to performance, video and installation. "Este puede ser el lugar" lasted 3 weeks between July and August of 2018. Santiago, Chile.

In "Este puede ser el lugar" ("This could be the place"), some artists, as Gaspar Álvarez, decided to work with the same building and its materials: the half-peeled walls or the objects left behind. Not knowing if a room with ragged wallpapers was or wasn't a work of art resulted dizzy. The gold leafs that Gaspar Álvarez used to repair its walls multiplied and contained natural light. (...) As in Osvaldo Farrés' bolero, what happened inside was always tempting and subjective. Open. Mysterious. As possible as it was impossible.
